Do I need a Visa and Passport to enter Morocco?

Morocco is a welcoming destination, however, some countries need visas to get into Morocco. Most foreign nationals do not need it such as Americans, Canadians, Australians/New Zealand, or Europeans and other passport holders, in length restricted to three months (or 90 days), If your stay is longer you will need to apply for an extension visa with a local police station.

Transit passengers begin their journey within 24 hours by the same or the first connecting flight, provided keeping onward or return documents and do not leave the airport.

What documents will be required to enter Morocco?(Visa and Passport info) 

  • Your passport must be valid for six months following the date of your entry.
  • No visa required to stay up to three months for North Americans and Europeans and other passport holders mentioned above.
  • Your return or onward documents.
  • Vaccination: International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required if arriving from an infected area within five days.

Please Note: your Entry visa is only valid for 90 days (three months), visitors that wish to stay much longer should apply at the local police station within fifteen days of Entry. For other visa inquiries, contact the Embassy.

We encourage Travelers to carry a copy of their passports with them all the time. Proof of identity and your country citizenship is important to have on you (If questioned by local officials).
